JamzPro™ is a professional marketplace. These rules protect performers, event buyers, and the integrity of every booking.

Overview

JamzPro™ is a professional live entertainment marketplace. These Marketplace Rules establish the standards of conduct required from all participants — performers, event buyers, venues, and agencies — to ensure a fair, functional, and trustworthy platform for everyone.

Violations of these rules may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform. JamzPro™ reserves the right to enforce these rules at its sole discretion and to take any action necessary to protect the integrity of the marketplace.

Prohibited Conduct (All Users)

The following conduct is strictly prohibited for all platform users, regardless of account type:

Off-platform booking circumvention: Initiating or completing a booking arrangement outside of the JamzPro™ platform with a party you discovered or made initial contact with through JamzPro™. All transactions between parties who met through the platform must be processed through the platform.

Fake reviews and ratings: Submitting false, misleading, or incentivized reviews. Requesting reviews from people who did not participate in the actual booking. Using multiple accounts to manipulate ratings.

Impersonation: Creating a profile that falsely represents your identity, credentials, professional experience, or organizational affiliation. Using another person's likeness, photos, or performance content without authorization.

Price manipulation: Artificially inflating or deflating prices to game search rankings, distort market rates, or deceive the other party in a transaction.

Spam and harassment: Sending unsolicited bulk messages, using the platform's messaging tools for marketing unrelated to a specific booking, or engaging in any form of harassment toward other users.

Fraud: Misrepresenting your qualifications, the event details, or your ability to fulfill a confirmed engagement for the purpose of financial gain.

⚠️ Off-platform circumvention is the most common marketplace violation and is taken very seriously. It undermines the platform that supports all performers and protects all buyers.

Performer Obligations

All performers on JamzPro™ agree to the following obligations as a condition of maintaining an active profile:

Accurate profiles: Your profile must accurately represent your current skills, experience, genres, equipment, pricing, and travel radius. Outdated or materially inaccurate profiles must be updated within 14 days of a change in your circumstances.

Timely responses: You must respond to booking inquiries within your stated response timeframe. Performers with chronic slow response rates will see reduced visibility on the platform. If you cannot respond within 48 hours, activate your "Away" mode in the dashboard.

Honoring confirmed bookings: Once a booking is confirmed and deposit is received, you are contractually obligated to fulfill the engagement under the agreed terms. Cancellations must follow the process outlined in the Cancellation Policy.

Professional conduct: You represent JamzPro™ and the broader marketplace in every client interaction. Conduct that is unprofessional, offensive, or harmful — whether on the platform, at the event, or in public communications about the platform — may result in account action.

No off-platform solicitation: You may not encourage clients to contact or pay you outside of JamzPro™ for bookings initiated through the platform.

Event Buyer Obligations

Event buyers using JamzPro™ agree to the following:

Accurate event information: All event details submitted in a booking request — including date, time, location, expected attendance, event type, and any special requirements — must be accurate. Providing false or incomplete event information that causes harm to a performer is a violation of these rules.

Timely communication: Respond to performer inquiries and pre-event communications within a reasonable timeframe. Performers have pre-event preparation needs that depend on timely confirmation of details.

Dispute process compliance: Do not initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through your financial institution without first using the JamzPro™ dispute resolution process. Chargebacks that bypass the platform process are a serious violation.

Respectful conduct: Treat performers with professional respect at all times — on the platform and at the event. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior toward performers is grounds for immediate account removal.

Venue Obligations

Venues listed on or participating in JamzPro™ bookings agree to:

Accurate venue details: Venue listings must accurately describe capacity, technical equipment (stage, PA, lighting), parking, accessibility accommodations, and any venue restrictions relevant to live performance.

Accessibility information: Venues must disclose any physical accessibility limitations that would affect performers (e.g., no elevator access to stage, load-in restrictions, lack of accessible parking) so performers can properly assess the engagement.

Contract compliance: Venues that enter into booking agreements through JamzPro™ are bound by the terms of those agreements, including performer access, setup time, and payment timing.

Agency Obligations

Agencies operating on JamzPro™ are subject to additional obligations:

Licensing disclosures: Agencies must disclose whether they are operating as a licensed talent agency in applicable jurisdictions. Failure to disclose required licensing is a violation of these rules and may constitute a violation of applicable law.

Contractor status: Agencies must ensure that performers listed under their agency profile are independent contractors, not employees, of the agency for purposes of the JamzPro™ platform.

Transparent representation: Agencies may not misrepresent their roster, inflate performer credentials, or take deposits from performers without disclosure of the agency fee structure.

Moderation Rights

JamzPro™ reserves the following rights to maintain marketplace integrity:

Content removal: JamzPro™ may remove any profile, listing, photo, video, review, or message that violates these rules or our Community Guidelines without prior notice.

Booking voidance: JamzPro™ may void a confirmed booking if it was initiated through fraud, misrepresentation, or circumvention of platform rules. Refund treatment in voided bookings will be determined based on the circumstances.

Account suspension: JamzPro™ may temporarily suspend any account under investigation for rule violations. Suspended accounts may not initiate new bookings during the suspension period.

Permanent removal: JamzPro™ may permanently remove any account found to have committed serious, repeated, or fraudulent violations of these rules.

JamzPro™ moderation decisions are final and not subject to appeal except where required by applicable law.

Consequences Matrix

Rule violations are handled progressively based on severity and recurrence:

Level 1 — Formal Warning: Applied for first-time, non-fraudulent violations. The user receives a written notice specifying the violation, the rule breached, and required corrective action. Warning is recorded on the account.

Level 2 — Temporary Suspension: Applied for repeat violations, moderate fraud, or first-time serious violations. Account access is restricted for 7–30 days depending on severity. During suspension, the performer's profile is hidden from search and the buyer cannot initiate new bookings.

Level 3 — Permanent Ban: Applied for severe violations including confirmed fraud, repeated harassment, off-platform circumvention after prior warnings, or conduct that poses a risk to other users. Permanent bans are reviewed by senior JamzPro™ staff. Permanently banned users may not create new accounts.

Aggravating factors such as financial harm to other users, public defamation of the platform, or criminal conduct will result in escalation to a higher consequence tier regardless of prior history.
