Acceptable Use Policy

Rules governing permitted and prohibited uses of the JamzPro™ marketplace platform — keeping the community safe, honest, and high-quality.

Section 1

Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of JamzPro™ and its services. By accessing or using JamzPro™, you agree to comply with this policy in addition to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and all other applicable JamzPro™ policies.

This policy applies to all users of JamzPro™, including event buyers, independent performers, venues, agencies, and any other party accessing the platform. JamzPro™ reserves the right to update this policy at any time with notice to users.

Our mission is to operate a trustworthy, high-quality marketplace for live entertainment. This policy exists to protect performers, event buyers, and the integrity of the JamzPro™ community.

Section 2

Permitted Uses

JamzPro™ is designed for the following legitimate uses:

For Event Buyers: • Searching for and booking verified, independent performers for legitimate events • Submitting honest booking inquiries with accurate event details • Communicating professionally with performers through the platform messaging system • Reviewing performers based on genuine, firsthand booking experiences • Saving performers and venues to your favorites or event boards • Accessing event planning tools, booking agreements, and event workspaces

For Performers: • Listing genuine entertainment services and performance offerings • Setting your own pricing, availability, and service packages • Responding to booking inquiries from event buyers • Managing your performer profile, media portfolio, and booking calendar • Requesting and receiving legitimate payouts for completed bookings • Building a professional reputation through verified reviews

For Venues: • Listing your venue for discovery by performers and event buyers • Managing venue availability, booking inquiries, and events • Partnering with performers for recurring entertainment arrangements

General Permitted Uses: • Using the platform for lawful purposes consistent with its intended marketplace function • Reporting violations, disputes, or concerns through the appropriate platform channels

Section 3

Prohibited Uses

The following activities are strictly prohibited on JamzPro™:

Fake Profiles and Misrepresentation: • Creating a performer profile with false identity, fake credentials, or fabricated performance history • Impersonating another performer, artist, celebrity, or any real person or organization • Uploading media (photos, audio, video) that does not belong to you or that misrepresents your actual services • Using AI-generated or stock imagery to misrepresent your appearance or portfolio

Spam and Harassment: • Sending unsolicited bulk messages to other users through the platform messaging system • Engaging in any form of harassment, intimidation, threats, or bullying directed at other users • Using automated scripts, bots, or tools to send messages, submit inquiries, or interact with the platform • Contacting users outside of the platform with unsolicited commercial communications

Fraudulent Bookings and Financial Abuse: • Submitting fake booking inquiries with no intention of completing the booking • Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first completing the platform's dispute resolution process • Circumventing platform fees by soliciting off-platform payments from users you met through JamzPro™ • Providing false payment information or attempting to defraud other users or the platform

Inappropriate and Illegal Content: • Posting, uploading, or transmitting content that is obscene, defamatory, or violates applicable law • Sharing content that infringes on the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party • Facilitating or promoting any illegal activity including but not limited to solicitation, illegal gambling, or drug distribution • Using the platform to plan, coordinate, or carry out any activity that violates applicable local, state, federal, or international law

Review Manipulation: • Submitting fake, fabricated, or incentivized reviews for any performer, venue, or service • Using multiple accounts to artificially inflate ratings or to post multiple reviews for the same booking • Intimidating, coercing, or offering incentives to other users in exchange for reviews

Platform Integrity Violations: • Attempting to access or interfere with another user's account, data, or the platform's security systems • Reverse engineering, scraping, or harvesting data from the platform without express written permission • Using the platform in any manner that could disable, damage, overburden, or impair JamzPro™'s systems

Section 4

Consequences of Violations

JamzPro™ takes violations of this Acceptable Use Policy seriously. Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, one or more of the following actions may be taken:

Informal Warning: For minor or first-time violations, JamzPro™ may issue a warning and request that the user correct the problematic behavior before further action is taken.

Content Removal: Violating content (profiles, listings, reviews, messages, or media) may be removed or hidden from the platform at JamzPro™'s sole discretion.

Account Suspension: A user's account may be temporarily suspended, preventing them from accessing platform features. Suspensions may range from 24 hours to 30 days depending on severity.

Permanent Ban: Serious or repeat violations may result in permanent removal of the user's account from JamzPro™. Banned users are prohibited from creating new accounts.

Financial Consequences: In cases of fraud, fee circumvention, or chargeback abuse, JamzPro™ may withhold pending payouts, reverse transactions, or pursue recovery of platform fees.

Legal Action: For violations involving fraud, intellectual property infringement, harassment, impersonation, or other illegal activity, JamzPro™ reserves the right to refer the matter to law enforcement and to pursue civil legal remedies, including injunctive relief and damages.

All actions taken under this policy are at JamzPro™'s sole discretion. We reserve the right to take any action necessary to protect the platform, our users, and the public.

Section 5

Reporting Violations

JamzPro™ relies on its community to help identify and report violations of this Acceptable Use Policy.

How to Report: • On any performer profile, use the "Report this Profile" button to flag suspicious or inappropriate content • For booking disputes, open a case through the Dispute Resolution Center in your dashboard • For urgent safety concerns, contact us directly at support@jamzpro.com with a subject line of "Urgent: Safety Report"

What to Include in a Report: • A clear description of the violation • The username, profile URL, or other identifying information of the user involved • Any relevant screenshots or evidence (where possible) • The approximate date and time the violation occurred

What Happens After You Report: JamzPro™ reviews all reports received. We do not disclose the identity of reporting parties. We will investigate reported violations and take appropriate action. You may receive a follow-up communication if we need additional information.

JamzPro™ does not guarantee any specific outcome from a report. We reserve the right to determine whether a reported activity violates this policy and what action, if any, to take.

Section 6

Policy Enforcement Process

JamzPro™ uses a combination of automated systems, community reports, and human review to enforce this Acceptable Use Policy.

Detection: JamzPro™ uses automated fraud detection, trust scoring, and behavioral analysis tools to identify potential violations. Additionally, user reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team.

Investigation: When a potential violation is detected or reported, JamzPro™'s Trust & Safety team investigates the matter. This may include reviewing account activity, messaging history, booking records, and any other relevant data.

Decision: Based on the investigation, JamzPro™ determines whether a violation has occurred and what action is appropriate. Our decision is final, though affected users may submit an appeal.

Appeals: Users who believe a moderation action was taken in error may submit an appeal within 14 days by contacting support@jamzpro.com with the subject line "Appeal: Account Action." We will review appeals within 5 business days.

Transparency: JamzPro™ does not publish detailed information about specific enforcement actions to protect the privacy of all parties involved. Platform-wide policy updates and major changes to our enforcement approach will be announced in our blog or via email.
