Section 1

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to website owners.

Cookies allow websites to recognize your device and remember certain information about your visit — such as your preferences, language settings, and login status. This helps improve your experience and ensures that the website functions correctly.

JamzPro™ uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and session storage) to operate our marketplace, improve your experience, and analyze how the platform is used.

Section 2

Cookies We Use

JamzPro™ uses the following categories of cookies:

Session Cookies (Essential) Session cookies are temporary cookies that are automatically deleted when you close your browser. They are essential for the platform to function correctly. Without session cookies, you would not be able to log in, maintain your cart, or navigate between pages without losing your information. These cannot be disabled without breaking core platform functionality.

Authentication Cookies When you sign in to JamzPro™, we set authentication cookies to keep you logged in for the duration of your session. These are deleted when you log out or when your session expires. These are essential for account security.

Preference Cookies Preference cookies allow JamzPro™ to remember your settings and personalize your experience. This includes filters you have applied in the performer directory, your saved searches, draft booking information saved locally, and display preferences. These are not essential but significantly improve your experience.

Analytics Cookies We use analytics tools to understand how visitors use our platform — which pages are visited most, how users navigate the booking flow, where technical issues occur, and how we can improve conversion and user experience. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized where possible. These cookies help us improve the platform.

Security Cookies Security cookies help JamzPro™ detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access. They store information needed to verify your identity and detect suspicious patterns. These are essential for platform security and cannot be disabled.

Section 3

Third-Party Services

JamzPro™ works with third-party service providers that may set their own cookies when you use our platform. These include:

Analytics Providers: We use analytics services to understand platform usage. These services may set their own tracking technologies on your device. The data collected is used solely to help us improve the JamzPro™ platform.

Payment Processors: When you interact with payment-related features on JamzPro™, our payment processing partners may set cookies to facilitate secure transactions and fraud prevention. Payment cookies are essential for processing transactions safely.

Content Delivery Networks (CDNs): We use CDNs to deliver platform assets quickly. CDN providers may set performance and security cookies.

We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or behavioral tracking on other websites. We do not sell your cookie data to advertising networks.

Each third-party provider operates under its own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review. JamzPro™ has no control over cookies set directly by third parties.

How to Manage & Disable Cookies

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Here is how to access cookie settings in the most common browsers:

Google Chrome: Go to Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. You can block all third-party cookies, clear existing cookies, or set exceptions for specific sites.

Mozilla Firefox: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. You can choose Standard, Strict, or Custom protection levels and manage exceptions.

Apple Safari: Go to Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data. You can block all cookies or block cross-site tracking. On iOS/iPadOS, go to Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security.

Microsoft Edge: Go to Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data. You can block third-party cookies, clear cookies, or manage exceptions.

Opera: Go to Settings → Advanced → Privacy & security → Cookies and other site data.

Browser Extension Options: You may also use browser extensions such as uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, or Cookie AutoDelete to manage and automatically clear cookies.

Please Note: Disabling essential cookies (session cookies, authentication cookies, and security cookies) will prevent JamzPro™ from functioning correctly. You may not be able to log in, submit booking requests, or access your dashboard if essential cookies are blocked.

Section 5

Local Storage & Similar Technologies

In addition to cookies, JamzPro™ uses browser local storage and session storage for certain functionality.

Local Storage: We use local storage to persist your session identifier (jamzpro_session_id) across page visits, to save booking form draft data so you don't lose progress, to remember recently viewed performers, and to store your saved preferences locally.

Session Storage: Session storage is used for temporary data within a single browser session. It is automatically cleared when you close the browser tab or window.

You can clear local storage and session storage through your browser's developer tools (DevTools) under the Application or Storage tab. Clearing this data will log you out and remove any unsaved booking drafts.
