What Is JamzPro™ Booking Protection?
JamzPro™ Booking Protection is a set of guarantees and safeguards that JamzPro™ provides to every event buyer who completes a booking through the platform. When you book a performer through JamzPro™, you are not just hiring talent — you are booking with the assurance that JamzPro™ stands behind the transaction.
Booking Protection applies automatically to every confirmed booking processed through the JamzPro™ platform. There is no application required and no additional fee. If you have a confirmed booking with a payment processed through JamzPro™, you are covered.
What JamzPro™ Guarantees
Every Protected Booking includes the following guarantees:
Verified Performers: All performers on JamzPro™ are reviewed before their profiles are activated. Performers who complete identity verification and profile review are marked as verified. You can see a performer's verification status on their profile before booking.
Direct Transactions: JamzPro™ is a discovery and booking marketplace. Clients and performers agree on terms and handle payment directly. JamzPro™ facilitates the connection and provides tools for booking coordination.
Dispute Support: If something goes wrong with your booking — the performer doesn't show up, the services were materially misrepresented, or another covered issue arises — JamzPro™ will review your case and work toward a fair resolution. You are not on your own.
Refund Eligibility: Protected Bookings qualify for refunds in covered circumstances (see Section 3), processed according to the timelines in our Refund Policy.
What Is Covered
JamzPro™ Booking Protection covers the following circumstances:
Performer No-Shows: If your performer does not arrive at the agreed location by the agreed time and provides no prior notice, you are entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid. This is covered regardless of the standard cancellation window.
Material Misrepresentation: If the performer's actual services are materially different from what was described in their profile or the confirmed booking terms — for example, a band that was described as a 5-piece arrives as a 2-piece duo without prior agreement — you may file a protection claim for a partial or full refund based on the degree of misrepresentation.
Performer Cancellations: If the performer cancels a confirmed booking, regardless of the cancellation timing, you receive a full refund within 5 business days under Booking Protection.
Technical Payment Failures: If a payment processing error causes your booking to fail or your payment to be taken without a confirmed booking, JamzPro™ will resolve the issue and issue a full refund.
What Is Not Covered
The following circumstances are not covered by JamzPro™ Booking Protection:
Customer-initiated cancellations within the non-refundable window: If you cancel a booking within 14 days of the event date, you are not eligible for a refund under the standard Refund Policy. Booking Protection does not override the cancellation policy for customer-initiated cancellations.
Acts of God and force majeure events: Natural disasters, declared public health emergencies, or other force majeure events may qualify for separate force majeure relief under the Refund Policy (reviewed case by case), but are not automatically covered as a standard Booking Protection claim.
Subjective dissatisfaction: Booking Protection does not cover situations where the event buyer simply did not enjoy the performance. The performer fulfilled the engagement as agreed, and the buyer's subjective taste does not qualify as a misrepresentation.
Verbal agreements outside the platform: Booking Protection only covers the terms confirmed within the JamzPro™ booking system. Verbal agreements, text messages, or arrangements made outside the platform are not part of the protected booking record.
Disputes not submitted within the claim window: Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of the scheduled event end time.
How to File a Protection Claim
To file a JamzPro™ Booking Protection claim:
1. Log in to your JamzPro™ account within 48 hours of the scheduled event end time 2. Navigate to the affected booking in your Customer Dashboard 3. Select "File a Protection Claim" and choose the claim type (no-show, misrepresentation, cancellation, etc.) 4. Provide a clear description of what occurred, including the departure from agreed booking terms 5. Upload supporting documentation (photos, communications, venue confirmation, etc.) if applicable 6. Submit your claim
JamzPro™ will acknowledge your claim within 24 hours and complete our review within 10 business days. You will be notified via email of the outcome and any refund decisions.
Resolution Timelines
JamzPro™ is committed to resolving Booking Protection claims promptly:
Claim acknowledgment: Within 24 hours of claim submission Initial review: Within 3 business days Final determination: Within 10 business days Refund processing (if approved): Within 5–7 business days after the final determination
Complex claims — involving he-said/she-said disputes, missing documentation, or contested facts — may require additional time. JamzPro™ will notify you if a claim will exceed the standard timeline.
Emergency situations (e.g., performer no-shows on the day of the event) receive expedited review. Contact support@jamzpro.com with "URGENT — Day-Of Claim" in the subject line for same-day response.
The Protected Booking Badge
The "Protected Booking" badge appears on the JamzPro™ booking request form and booking confirmation pages. This badge indicates that:
• Your booking will be processed through Stripe's secure payment infrastructure • The performer has been reviewed and approved by the JamzPro™ team • You are covered by JamzPro™ Booking Protection for the circumstances described in Section 3 • If something goes wrong, JamzPro™ has a dedicated dispute and claims process to help you
The Protected Booking badge is not a guarantee of the quality of any individual performance. It is a guarantee of platform-backed support and financial protection for covered circumstances.
Only bookings completed through the JamzPro™ platform receive Booking Protection. Arrangements made outside the platform — even between parties who met through JamzPro™ — are not covered.
