Community Guidelines

JamzPro™ is a professional entertainment marketplace. These guidelines keep our community respectful, authentic, and thriving.

Our Community

JamzPro™ is home to thousands of independent musicians, DJs, vocalists, worship musicians, and live entertainers — alongside the event buyers, venues, and agencies who hire them. Our community is built on mutual respect, professional integrity, and shared enthusiasm for live music and entertainment.

These Community Guidelines describe the professional and behavioral standards we expect from every member of the JamzPro™ community. These guidelines supplement our Terms of Service and Marketplace Rules and apply to all communications, content, and conduct on and off the platform.

Professional Standards

Every participant in the JamzPro™ marketplace is expected to operate with professional integrity:

For performers: Represent your skills, experience, and availability honestly. Deliver what you promise in your profile and agreed booking terms. Respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner. Show up prepared, on time, and ready to deliver an exceptional experience.

For event buyers: Provide accurate event information. Communicate needs and expectations clearly and in advance. Treat performers as the professionals they are — with respect, timely communication, and fair payment.

For venues and agencies: Maintain accurate listings and transparent business practices. Honor agreements and communicate proactively when circumstances change.

The JamzPro™ marketplace thrives when all participants maintain high professional standards. Conduct that consistently falls below these standards will be addressed through our consequence process.

Communication Standards

All communications on JamzPro™ — including messages, reviews, support requests, and profile content — must meet the following standards:

Respectful and professional: All users must communicate with basic professional courtesy. Aggressive, threatening, demeaning, or hostile language is not permitted.

Honest and accurate: Do not misrepresent yourself, your intentions, or the facts of a situation in any communication on the platform.

On-topic and relevant: Use messaging tools for booking-related communications. Do not use the platform's communication tools for unsolicited marketing, spam, or off-topic solicitation.

Confidential as appropriate: Do not share other users' private information — contact details, payment information, or communications — outside of the platform without consent.

Review & Rating Guidelines

Reviews are a cornerstone of the JamzPro™ trust system. To maintain their integrity, reviews must adhere to the following guidelines:

Reviews must be honest and factual: Write about your actual experience. Describe what happened, not what you wished had happened. Exaggeration in either direction — inflated praise or unfounded criticism — undermines the value of the review system.

Reviews must be based on a direct booking: Only review a performer you have actually booked through JamzPro™. Reviewing without a direct booking relationship is prohibited.

No harassment in reviews: Criticism must be constructive and focused on the service experience. Personal attacks, discriminatory language, threats, or attempts to damage someone's reputation through false claims are prohibited and will be removed.

No incentivized reviews: You may not offer or receive payment, discounts, or other incentives in exchange for a review. Incentivized reviews violate the review system's integrity and are removed when detected.

Reviews cannot be edited after 14 days. Performers may submit a single written response to any review.

ℹ️ JamzPro™ monitors reviews for authenticity. Fake or incentivized reviews are removed and the accounts involved may face suspension.

Prohibited Content

The following content is prohibited anywhere on JamzPro™ — in profiles, messages, reviews, photos, bios, or any other platform feature:

Hate speech: Content that demeans, threatens, or attacks individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.

Harassment and bullying: Repeated unwanted contact, threats, deliberate intimidation, or content designed to humiliate or harm a specific individual.

Sexually explicit content: Explicit sexual content, nudity, or sexually suggestive material that is not relevant to professional entertainment services.

Violence and threats: Content that threatens, encourages, or glorifies violence against any person or group.

Misinformation: Deliberately false claims about other users, businesses, or events that could harm their reputation or safety.

Spam: Repetitive, unsolicited, or mass-marketing messages sent through the platform's communication tools.

JamzPro™ will remove prohibited content without notice and may suspend or ban accounts responsible for serious or repeated violations.

⚠️ Prohibited content is removed without warning. Accounts with a pattern of prohibited content are permanently banned from the platform.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

JamzPro™ is committed to building a marketplace that is welcoming, equitable, and inclusive for all performers and event buyers, regardless of background, identity, or style.

We believe that diverse talent makes the entertainment industry richer, more creative, and more impactful. JamzPro™ actively works to:

• Surface performers from diverse backgrounds in our Smart Match and search results • Prevent algorithmic bias in performer ranking and recommendation systems • Respond quickly and firmly to reports of discriminatory conduct on the platform • Provide equal access to JamzPro™ platform tools, features, and visibility programs for all performers

JamzPro™ does not tolerate discrimination in booking decisions. Performers may not be excluded on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics. Event buyers who engage in discriminatory booking practices will have their accounts suspended.

Consequences for Guideline Violations

JamzPro™ enforces these Community Guidelines progressively based on severity:

Content removal: Violating content is removed from the platform. Users are notified via email with an explanation of the violation.

Formal warning: A written warning is issued for first-time, moderate violations. The warning is recorded on the account and informs future enforcement decisions.

Feature restriction: Specific platform features (messaging, reviews, booking initiation) may be temporarily restricted for users who misuse them.

Temporary suspension: Accounts may be suspended for 7–30 days for repeated violations or moderate-severity first offenses.

Permanent removal: Accounts found to have engaged in hate speech, harassment, fraud, or repeated violations after prior warnings are permanently removed from the platform.

All enforcement actions may be appealed within 14 days by contacting support@jamzpro.com.
