Acceptable Use Policy

JamzPro™ is a professional marketplace. This policy defines what you can and cannot do with the platform.

Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how you may and may not use the JamzPro™ platform, including the website, mobile applications, APIs, and all associated services. This policy applies to all users — performers, event buyers, venues, agencies, and administrators.

By accessing or using JamzPro™, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in the actions described in Section 5. This AUP supplements and incorporates the JamzPro™ Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Permitted Uses

The JamzPro™ platform may be used for the following lawful purposes:

For event buyers: Discovering and evaluating performers, submitting booking requests, reviewing performer profiles, completing payments for confirmed engagements, and communicating with performers about event details.

For performers: Creating and maintaining a professional performer profile, receiving and responding to booking inquiries, managing your event calendar, coordinating payment directly with clients, and accessing performance analytics and insights.

For venues: Listing venue information, receiving performer booking requests, and coordinating with event buyers and performers for bookings that occur at your venue.

For agencies: Managing a roster of independent performers, facilitating bookings on behalf of represented talent, and accessing agency management tools.

For all users: Accessing help resources, submitting support requests, submitting reviews of completed bookings, and participating in the JamzPro™ community in accordance with the Community Guidelines.

Prohibited Uses

The following uses of JamzPro™ are strictly prohibited:

Automated scraping: Using bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated tools to extract data from JamzPro™ profiles, search results, or any other part of the platform — for any purpose, including building competing services, data aggregation, or market research — without JamzPro™'s prior written consent.

Spam and bulk communications: Sending unsolicited messages to multiple users, using the platform's messaging tools for mass marketing, or engaging in any form of communication designed to circumvent the normal booking inquiry process.

Unauthorized automated access: Accessing or attempting to access the JamzPro™ API, backend systems, or any restricted platform feature without authorization, or using the API in excess of documented rate limits or beyond the permitted use case.

Reverse engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, reverse engineering, or attempting to derive the source code or underlying algorithms of any JamzPro™ software, service, or feature.

Impersonation: Creating an account or profile that falsely claims to be another person, performer, business, or organization — including impersonating JamzPro™ staff or official accounts.

Account trafficking: Buying, selling, transferring, or renting access to JamzPro™ accounts.

Illegal activity: Using the platform to facilitate, promote, or engage in any activity that is illegal under applicable local, state, federal, or international law, including but not limited to copyright infringement, fraud, money laundering, identity theft, or unlicensed talent agency operations.

Platform fee circumvention: Taking any deliberate action to avoid, reduce, or circumvent JamzPro™'s platform fees on transactions initiated through the platform.

Data harvesting: Collecting or storing personal information about other users without their consent for purposes beyond facilitating a specific booking.

⚠️ Scraping JamzPro™ data without permission is a violation of this AUP and may also violate the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (18 U.S.C. § 1030) and similar laws.

Security Provisions

You may not use JamzPro™ to attempt or conduct any of the following:

• Unauthorized access to JamzPro™ systems, servers, networks, databases, or administrative interfaces • Introduction of malware, viruses, worms, ransomware, or other malicious code • Denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against the platform or its infrastructure • Exploitation of security vulnerabilities in the platform, API, or related systems • Interception of platform communications, including network traffic between users and JamzPro™ servers

If you discover a security vulnerability in JamzPro™, we ask that you responsibly disclose it by contacting support@jamzpro.com with "Security Disclosure" in the subject line. We will investigate all responsible disclosures in good faith and may offer recognition for valid, significant findings.

Conducting unauthorized security testing against JamzPro™ systems without prior written consent is prohibited, even if no actual harm is caused.

Consequences for Violations

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in the following consequences, depending on the severity and nature of the violation:

Immediate access termination: JamzPro™ may immediately suspend or terminate access to the platform for users engaged in scraping, unauthorized system access, fraud, or other severe violations.

Account suspension: Accounts may be temporarily suspended while an investigation is conducted.

Permanent ban: Users who engage in serious, repeated, or fraudulent AUP violations will be permanently banned from the platform and may not create new accounts.

Legal action: JamzPro™ reserves the right to pursue civil and criminal remedies for AUP violations that cause material harm to the platform, its users, or its business — including injunctive relief, damages, and reporting to law enforcement.

JamzPro™ monitors platform usage for AUP compliance and may cooperate with law enforcement agencies investigating violations of applicable law.
