1. No Booking Commissions
JamzPro™ is a discovery marketplace. Clients find performers on the platform and contact them directly. All payment negotiation and settlement happens directly between the client and the performer — JamzPro™ does not process, hold, or split any payments.
There are no per-booking commissions or fees deducted from your earnings. You set your own rates, negotiate your own terms, and receive payment from your clients through whatever payment method you agree on.
JamzPro™ earns revenue through optional Pro and Elite subscription plans available to performers. These plans unlock features like featured placement and priority search ranking — not payment processing.
2. Subscription Plans
JamzPro™ offers a free tier and two optional paid subscription plans for performers:

3. Direct Payment Between Clients and Performers
Because JamzPro™ does not process payments, there is no holding period, no payout schedule, and no minimum threshold to worry about. Payment timing is entirely between you and your client.
Common payment arrangements that performers use on the platform include: deposits to hold the date, payment at the event, or invoiced payment based on your business preference. JamzPro™ provides contract templates to help you formalize these arrangements.
You are responsible for collecting your own payment and handling any payment disputes directly with your clients.
4. Tax Responsibilities
As an independent contractor, you are responsible for all taxes on your earnings, including federal income tax, state income tax, and self-employment tax (15.3%). JamzPro™ does not withhold taxes on your behalf and does not issue tax forms for payments made directly between clients and performers.
You are required to track all income you receive from clients and include it in your tax filings. This applies regardless of whether you receive any documentation from JamzPro™.
We strongly recommend consulting a qualified tax professional regarding your obligations as an independent contractor.
5. Subscription Billing
Pro and Elite subscription plans are billed on the schedule you select (monthly or quarterly). Subscription billing is handled through JamzPro™'s subscription management system.
- Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time — your profile stays active until the end of the current billing period
- Quarterly plans can be cancelled at any time with no penalty
- Downgrades to the free tier take effect at the end of the current billing period
- Subscription fees are for platform access only — not for payment processing
